Meet MK, former nurse turned personal trainer, and Sara, a psychotherapist, two moms and endurance athletes. They met over a short run at a triathlon training camp and instantly bonded, becoming close friends. Despite MK living near Charlotte, NC and Sara in Alpharetta, GA, the two maintain a very close friendship.
In this episode, they share not only their story but their dreams for the podcast. As endurance athletes and moms who don’t always fit the suburban mold, they see a place where they can share their real, vulnerable, and authentic selves and journeys - helping others on similar paths feel more connected and less isolated. They hope to inspire and encourage other women - moms, athletes, everyone, to live their truest life. This year they are not only stepping out of their comfort zones to start this show, but training for a 40 mile trail race!
